These shots will replace the boosters previously offered in the US such that, for people 12 and older, being "up-to-date" with vaccines means having the new jab, CNN Medical Analyst Dr. Leana Wen explains. ... it's most urgent for people who have not received any vaccine or not had Covid-19 in 2022 to get the updated booster. This is especially true for older individuals and those who have chronic medical conditions. About 30% of people 65 and older have not had any booster. Those individuals really should get the updated booster now.
